Discover the inner workings of the Moniker Press print shop firsthand during our drop-in Open Studio events. Meet the risograph printers, explore print and paper samples, and connect with fellow riso enthusiasts.

Please note that we do not provide estimates in-person or on the spot, but are happy to discuss your project specifications and show relevant paper and print samples.

Moniker Press offers by-appointment studio visits for individuals with specific projects in mind. We try to schedule visits on one designated day each week to accommodate multiple meetings, allowing us to efficiently manage our workflow and production schedule.

During a studio visit, you can discuss and finalize the details of your project, examine print and paper samples, and have any questions answered.

Moniker Press frequently organizes book launch events for our Publishing projects, featuring artist Q+A’s, readings, talks, and performances. Whenever possible, we strive to provide online attendance options through Instagram live streaming.

Additionally, we have organized small zine markets, exhibitions and reading rooms in the past and plan to do so again in the future. To stay informed about our upcoming events following MP on social media.

Flyer Friday is a community copy shop event hosted by Moniker Press, providing low-barrier access to grayscale risograph and photocopy printing. At this event, printing is offered on a sliding scale or pay-what-you-can basis, no one is turned away for lack of funds. The intention is to create a mutual support cycle, where those who are able can contribute more to help subsidize costs for others. Funds also assist with material expenses such as ink, stencils, and paper to ensure the continuity of the event. Artists/designers are invited to contribute by creating and submitting free-use printable designs for attendees to choose from.

Through Flyer Friday, Moniker Press aims to continue the impactful legacy printed materials have had in amplifying voices and spreading awareness, and seeks to further support important activist work in the Vancouver area.
